As we draw to the end of August, we are looking forward to September and the start of the proper jumping season! We have had few runners through August as Greenview Paradise and Purple Jazz have been retired and have happily found new homes.
I look forward to the day we can welcome the public back to the racecourse, the atmosphere is lacking without the cheer and roar of everyone cheering their horses home!
We have two entered up next week at Uttoxeter, Espalion and Demon Fou. Espalion ran extremely well last time out over course and distance whilst Demon Fou won first time out last season, however that was on a 9lbs lower mark.
We bought two three year olds from Tattersalls Ireland last week with Kevin Ross, a filly by Califet and a gelding by Snow Sky. Both are now with Matt Griffiths to be broken.
