With abandonments of Cheltenham and Wincanton, our runners have been few and far between however hopefully we will be returning to the racecourse at Wincanton on Thursday.
Manofmanywords is making his hurdling debut aged 9, he is returning after an injury which meant he missed last season and the original plan was to go pointing however as that is all on hold until the middle of March at the earliest he is making his debut under rules! One advantage is that he is reunited with Bryan Carver who rode him when he won his two point to points at Ottery St Mary and Cothelstone. He has ability and experience in point to points however he has been off since March 2019 and will come on for run. Stormy Flight was declared to run at Cheltenham how after that was abandoned he was rerouted to Wincanton.
