Popping up to Aintree

19.5.17 - Popping Along runs in the Racehorse Owners Association Mares' Handicap Hurdle at Aintree Racecourse today, a race she won last year off a pund higher. Matt Griffiths rides. She made a pleasing return at Ludlow last month after a winter break, and we're hopeful of a good run.

Tomorrow Blue April runs in the Wrexham Lager Original Brew Novices' Handicap Hurdle with Nick Scholfield in the saddle.

Jack at Kempton

15.5.17 - Moorlands Jack heads to Kempton Park today for the Matchbook Betting Exchange Handicap Chase. He's gone up 2lb following his win at Newton Abbot last month. Nick Scholfield rides.

Zulu Oscar lines up in the Swinton

13.05.17 -

Zulu Oscar goes in the Grade 3 Pertemps Network Swinton Handicap Hurdle today following his eye catching success at Chepstow on his debut for the yard. He goes to Haydock in good heart and Matt Griffiths rides.

Robert Hawker is on board Day Of Roses in the Listers Skoda Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase at Warwick, his second start over fences following his debut at Exeter in March where he will have gained from the experience.

Diminpete makes his debut in the bumper with Nick Scholfield in the saddle.

Runners and entries

24.4.17 - Best Boy Barney ran a super race to finish second at Wincanton in the Best Odds Guaranteed at 188Bet Handicap Chase finishing well clear of the field.

We were also pleased with Jack Snipe who  ran well to finish third at Stratford in the three mile three and a half furlong chase having been lumped with a 12lb rise following his Taunton win. He travelled really well for much of the way, but just couldn’t find any extra when push came to shove in the closing stages. We’ll find another opportunity for him soon. Shoofly Milly may have found the ground too quick in the three mile two furlongs handicap hurdle.

Today Speedalong, who showed improvement on his last run at Taunton in March, goes in the two miles five furlongs maiden hurdle with Nick Scholfield in the saddle.
