Demon Fou wins at Wincanton

After a long summer, our Winter horses are just beginning to get going, Kissesforkatie ran a good race at Chepstow on her second start over hurdles, we will aim to get her qualified for the EBF Mares' Novice Hurdle Finale at Newbury in March and run her in some of the better Mares' Novices' this season. Champagne Court will go chasing after a fantastic second in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow, he has gone up 5lbs for that run and is an exciting young horse this season.

We had a busy day at Wincanton with four runners at one of our local tracks, Greenview Paradise ran well on her second start over hurdles, she needs one more run to get a handicap mark and then we will go from there. Seeanythingyoulike ran another good race to finish third, he should be winning a race soon.  Keltus ran in his first proper race for over three years and he was a little ring rusty having run in hunter chases and the military races. He will come on massively for the run and wasn't beaten far in fourth. Demon Fou rounded off the day with a fantastic win in a competitive handicap hurdle. He won a novice hurdle last season and had been running well in handicaps. Matt gave him a great ride to win for the Friends From Insurance.

Stormy Flight ran well on hs debut at Stratford yesterday, the ground was Soft and he just got tired up the home straight. He will have learnt alot as that was only his second start on a racecourse. Native Robin is ultra consistent and probably too consistant for his own good, as he can never great a break from the handicapper. He finished another good second in a competitive handicap chase.
