Third Frequent Runner Award

Dashel Drasher

We love our now, annual trip to The McCoy's, we have won the South West Trainers Frequent Runners Award for under forty horses for the third year running. I am proud to support Exeter, Wincanton and Warwick, they are fair courses where I have enjoyed plenty of success over the years. Cheltenham is the pinnacle of Jumps Racing and we were fortunate to have a winner at the April Meeting with the exciting Dashel Drasher. Champagne Court finished fourth in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle at The Festival whilst Kissesforkatie finished third in the Listed Bumper at the November Meeting.

I have started this season's campaign already with a couple of runners at Warwick earlier this week. Tikkinthebox showed renewed enthusiasm when winning a 0-105 Handicap Chase for The On A Mission Gang. He provided talented, Bryan Carver with his first winner as a Conditional. Bryan rode all of our Point To Pointers last season, including winning on Manyofmanywords and Tree Sparrow. He will be a name to watch this season. Seeanythingyoulike has been a frustrating horse over the years, he jumps extremely well and his unlucky second at Warwick proves he has ability to win races. He should be getting his head in front soon. We were delighted to provide Rex with his first ride back after a long spell on the sidelines, he has been in, riding out and schooling for the past few weeks, as well as working hard at the fantastic Oaksey House. It was almost a dream comeback for Rex, hopefully next time!
